Margarita Lorenzo is the designer behind Chocolate Creative, a multidisciplinary studio based in South London. She started out as a graphic designer after training in fine art and graphic design in Spain and England. After many years working mainly in graphics, her passion for textiles drove her to learn and discover new ways to apply her graphic knowledge to textiles.
Her love for interior design, and anything to do with furniture, antiques and old loved things, led her to develop the ‘Decayed Glamour’ collection.
The hand made collections use a long crafted process, from the drawing of the pattern to the silk screen printing to the sewing. Because of the nature of the process, colors and pattern may vary from cushion to cushion–making each item within the collection unique and one-off.
Introducing the new ‘Eco’ collection, printed on ecologically sound fabrics, such as hemp and organic cotton. Ideas behind the collection are based on creating individual messages from familiar packaging such as coffee sacks, and the concept and look of Victorian cameos.

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Due to size and regulation restrictions when shipping overseas, (anywhere that is not UK).
• When the item is bigger than 30x40 cm: We can only send the outer cover of the cushion (we will discount the inside padding cost from the final total).
• USA shipping: Countries such as USA have forgiven the entry of feathers in the country, therefore we can only deliver the outer covers.
Chocolate Creative use Royal Mail for standard shipping, any other requests can be arranged, (this would increase the shipping cost displayed on the shop).

NEWS Chocolate Creative new designs NOW available in our shop.
The creative process never stops at chocolatecreative, we are always thinking of new ideas, designs, fabrics, etc…to add to our growing collection of textiles. I am happy to introduce the butterflies design as part of the Cameos collection. This 50x50cm cushion is made on natural stripe cotton and 100% organic cotton. The roses appliqués are digitally printed and hand stitched.

As well as the above new design I have been working on some ideas for some time. I wanted to incorporate some vintage imaginary on the designs, so I have doing a lot of research into old paper doll (this used to be one of my favorite things to do) and vintage toys. All this had led me to create the PAPER DOLL collection, I hope you enjoy this bit of nostalgia as much as I do.
